In order to prepare the operational programme for the next programming period the Managing Authority of OPRD has elaborated a grant scheme for development of ready (mature) projects, so municipalities-specific beneficiaries are given the opportunity to apply for funding for the next programming period 2014-2020.

The scheme is implemented under Operation 5.3 “Capacity building of OPRD beneficiaries” of Priority axis 5 “Technical assistance”.

Supported activities:

• Preparation of technical/design projects in accordance with the Spatial Development Act and Ordinance No. 4 of the scope and content of investment projects
• Elaboration of energy efficiency audit  in accordance with Article 16 of the Energy Efficiency Act (EEA), certificate for actual status of energy consumption, issued in line of Article 17 of EEA
• Preparation of financial analyses for revenue generating projects within the meaning of Article 55 of Regulation (EC) No. 1083/2006 related to eligible areas of intervention

Eligible applicants under the scheme are 36 municipalities – centers of agglomeration areas, as the total amount of grants comes up to approximately BGN 15 million.

Deadline for submission of project proposals: 30 October 2012, 16:00 pm

The Guidelines for Applicants as well as the full package of documents are approved by the Head of the MA of OPRD with Order No. РД-02-14-853/30.03.2012.
