Internal Audit Unit
The Internal Audit Unit within the Ministry
of Regional Development and Public Works implements the functions of
internal audit of all structures, activities and processes carried out
by the ministry, including the structures managing the EU funds (the
Managing Authority of the OP “Regional Development”, PHARE and ISPA
Implementing Agencies). The Unit is subordinated and reports directly to
the minister of regional development and public works And its functions
are in compliance with the Law on Internal Audit in the Public Sector.
The Unit will carry out the internal audits for the purposes of OP
“Regional Development” and will send copies of its reports to the Head
of OPRD Managing Authority as well as to the Audit Authority at the
